- open a blank page(i usually choose white)

- create a square but don’t clik fill

- make it as big as you want

- click on the small image above the T icon

- click photo and choose the photo from your pc

- make it as big as you want and put it inside the square

- then click “crop” and crop the picture

- save and done!

how to do a gradient text & add a stroke

first, open up a new document (file>new) i am making my size 250X120 pixels.

second, write whatever you want it to say. I recommend that you have these settings so the text looks good.

third, go to layer>layer style>gradient overlay

fourth, create a gradient by clicking in the middle and the clicking the black on the color pallette, changing the color. then press new when you have your gradient ready.

fifth, press ok and then make sure you have these settings for your gradient

next, click the stroke button under pattern overlay

now, you are going to make sure you have these settings, but you can change the white to whatever color you would like. (i prefer either a grey, or white)

now, press ok in the top right corner.

*this is where it gets tricky, so pay attention!

ok so now, make sure you click the first layer.

now, you are going to click this button *its outlined in the picture below*

you will now have something that says layer two.

now, you are going to click on the layer that has your
text, and then on your keyboard press/hold down
ctrl & the letter “e”. now your layer is merged :)

now go to layer> layer style> stroke. then click the drop down menu and click gradient.

now, make sure it has the same settings as the gradient overlay you did in step five.

after that, press ok, and you are done with the text! :)

NOW IT SHOULD LOOK SOMETHING LIKE THIS:

adding a nonbasic font (example: arsenale white)

So if you where you want to change your basic font into a nonbasic font you’ll find this line:

font-family:Georgia;

now delete Georgia and add “”. then between ” and ” write the title of the font you want to use! (I discoverd that not all fonts are working, bot most of them do work!)

End-Result

font-family:”your font”;

or for example

font-family:”arsenale white”;

Gimp tutorial - text without background

Step 1: Right mouse click on the background layer and select New Layer

Step 2: A box popps out and make sure that transparency is selected then click on ok.

Step 3: Then again right mouse click on the background layer and then select delete layer
Step 4: Write the text you want and you’re finished (instead of the background grey thingies will apear, but once you uploadet it to tumblr or other websited the grey thingies will disapear!)

so well this should work for every theme:

in your theme html code you’ll finde this code between the head tags:

add a

background:url();

between { and } then paste the direct link to the image between background:url( and );

final result:

}

getting rid of flaws on photoshop

I am going to start with this image of a person I found on google:

second: Open the Patch Tool

third: you are going to use the patch tool, and you are going to drag your mouse around the flaw you are going to get rid of. (usually in a shape of a circle)

fourth: you will drag the circle to an area that doesn’t have acne.

fifth: keep repeating step four, getting a more clear face!

last: you should end up with a more flawless face like this,
